In order to get a thorough background on the behaviour problem your pet presents with, PVBS requires you to complete a Canine Behavioural Questionnaire or a Feline Behavioural Questionnaire. This allows us to plan the consultation and gives us insight into why your pet is behaving the way they are.
As part of the behavioural history, video footage of your pet during all aspects of its daily routine can be very helpful in shedding light on the motivation of your pet to perform certain behaviours. Video footage of rest, play, walking, abnormal behaviours, and so on, is recommended. However, if aggression is the presenting problem, it is NOT recommended to film aggressive events. This is for the safety of your pet, yourself, other pets and other people. A thorough behavioural history will be taken as part of the behaviour consultation process.
